100 blocks to be auctioned in 2017 - 2018: Arun Kumar, Secretary, Ministry of Mines (Full Speech)




100 mining blocks will be auctioned by the government in the year 2017-2018, stated the Secretary, Ministry of Mines- Arun Kumar. He was speaking at the India Mining Summit 2017. The pace of auctions too needs to be hastened, he added.

The government and the industry are getting ready to adopt the proper mechanism for supporting the change.
